Year after year, this oasis of peace in the centre of the city invited locals and visitors to immerse themselves in the magic of Christmas in Madrid, offering a series of exclusive and memorable events, meticulously designed to enjoy the most magical time of the year.

SWEET EVENINGS

Every year, the evenings in the Lobby of this charming place inaugurated the Christmas period. Guests and visitors were delighted with the sweetest tradition thanks to the exquisite churros  from the iconic San Ginés and snacks with a selection of handmade pastries, which would please the most demanding palates.

When the clock struck 19:00, the soft notes of the live piano flooded the room, dancing with the bubbles from the glasses of champagne or a signature cocktail. Each musical chord was carefully selected to complement the sophistication of the hotel’s cocktail menu, creating the perfect sound tapestry for winter evenings in Madrid.

Chapter III

Moments for connection and creativity

There was no shortage of opportunities for connection and creativity in this tale. The hosts of the Urso Hotel & Spa organised Christmas wreath workshops and beauty workshops with the prestigious brand Natura Bissé. These were not only an opportunity to learn and create, but also to connect with other guests or loved ones in a festive atmosphere. With limited places available, advance booking was required to guarantee participation in these unique experiences.

Chapter IV

Christmas glow on the skin

On the eve of the season’s big events, guests indulged in the pleasure of self-care at the hotel’s intimate spa. Cutting-edge treatments such as Natura Bissé’s iconic Star Treatment employed innovative techniques to rejuvenate and revitalise the skin.

In addition, the offer of gift vouchers and exclusive memberships allowed this luxury to extend beyond the holiday season, ensuring that every visit was a true wellness getaway.

Christmas Eve Dinner

Christmas Eve shone with its own light at Urso Hotel & Spa. The hotel’s chefs meticulously designed a menu with the best local produce – combining tradition and modernity – the unique atmosphere was enriched with festive decorations and excellent service completed the experience for those fortunate enough to celebrate Christmas Eve in the centre of Madrid.

Christmas Brunch

For lovers of daytime celebrations, the story continued on Christmas Day with a brunch at the iconic Urso Greenhouse. Madrid light filtered through the large windows, sweet and savoury flavours accompanied the lively chatter of family and friends gathered around a table to celebrate Christmas.

CHAPTER VI

THE LAST EVENING OF THE YEAR

After a few days of rest, the grand finale of the year was celebrated with elegant anticipation. The New Year’s Eve evening kicked off with a toast, live music and an atmosphere designed to raise the festive spirit. With limited places available, it was recommended to secure participation in this outstanding celebration as early as possible.

New Year’s Eve Dinner

To round off the last hours of the year, in an enclave where time seemed to stand still, Urso Hotel & Spa offered a gala dinner at The Conservatory and the traditional Casa Felisa restaurant. With the clock ticking every second towards midnight, diners were treated to an exquisite menu created by Antonio del Álamo, enjoyed the Spanish tradition of the twelve grapes, and welcomed the new year in a festive and sophisticated atmosphere.

New Year’s Brunch

The next morning, in order to start the new year with optimism, some lucky ones woke up to a New Year’s brunch at the hotel’s elegant Orangery. This place provided the perfect ambience to bid farewell to the previous night and welcome the new year in elegance surrounded by loved ones.

CHAPTER X

A sweet ending: Roscón de Reyes

On the 6th of January, a holiday season full of excitement, new experiences and family time came to an end with one of Spain’s most beloved traditions: the Roscón de Reyes (Three Kings Cake). The Lobby of the hotel was the perfect backdrop for the last Christmas wishes and the delicious hot chocolate, the ideal complement.
